We have a very exciting opportunity in Chicago this December. The Reform Movement’s Biennial Convention is coming to McCormick Place! This year for the first time, The Union for Reform Judaism is making Biennial access easy for the entire local Reform Jewish community with a one-day Shabbat Community Pass, which is available for a nominal fee. On Saturday, December 14, all of our members can experience the joy and beauty of Jewish learning, singing, and worshipping with thousands of other Jews from around the world. If we have enough interest, Temple Chai will even provide round-trip bussing.
In addition to the one-day Shabbat extravaganza, over a dozen Temple Chai leaders will spend an extended period at the URJ Biennial in study and worship with our Reform Movement’s brightest teachers. We know that our congregation will benefit from this immersive experience.
