August Third Thursday – Charles Troy “The Creation of West Side Story: The Story Behind the Show” (August 16th)

Don’t miss the August 16 Third Thursday program from 1:30 to 3:00 PM presented by Charles Troy, acclaimed dramatic musical theatre historian.  You may remember him from his “Fiddler on the Roof” program as well as his “History of the Yiddish Theatre” program where over 200 people attended. Back by popular demand and on the occasion of Leonard Bernstein’s 100th anniversary, this time around Charles will be bringing us an insider look at “The Creation of West Side Story”.  This program is free and as always, open to the community–everyone is welcome. If you’d like to find out more, Charles has a youtube preview of his program titled “The Creation of “West Side Story (Skokie preview)”. Looking forward to seeing you there!
