Our Ruach! Children's choir is a source of spirit, fun and inspiration for the entire congregation here at Temple Chai. Ruach means spirit! All second through eighth graders are invited to join our spirited Ruach! Children’s Choir. Our Ruach! members develop lasting friendships and a lifelong love for Jewish prayer, song and celebration. Directed by Gail Simon and Cantor Simon, both professional music educators, our Ruach! Children's choir rehearses on Monday evenings throughout the school year and performs at High Holy Days, Shabbat, and all special Family Services. All 2nd through 8th graders are invited to join us. Please contact Cantor Simon or Gail Simon with any questions. Don't miss out on the opportunity to raise your voice and be part of this spirited group of friends! Ruach meets to rehearse on Mondays from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. and sings at services at Temple Chai throughout the school year. Click here for a copy of our 5777/2016-17 Calendar.
Adults and teens interested in sharing their musical talents with the community find deep satisfaction and joy in our many music programs. Under the musical baton of Cantor Simon, Adults in our Kol Chai Choir lift their voices and bring their musical leadership to beautify and enrich the High Holy day season as well as special services, concerts and musical opportunities throughout the year. Teens with strong guitar playing skills and great voices are always needed for our weekday afternoon and Sunday morning religious school music and songleading program. The cantor has befriended and trained countless students over the last 18 years many of whom have gone on to become rabbis, songleaders, professional musicans and Jewish educators. Contact Cantor Simon at SSimon@TempleChai.org for more information.
