ChAmPY and Jr. ChAmPY are part of the North American Federation of Temple Youth and its Chicago Area Region (NFTY CAR - for more information, visit https://chicago.nfty.org/) and we attend all of the regional and national NFTY programs. ChAmPY holds events at least monthly throughout the school year and holds open board meetings the first Tuesday evening of each month.

NFTY is a movement that builds strong, welcoming, inspired communities through teen-powered engagement. Together, we pursue tikkun olam, personal growth, youth empowerment, and deep connections, all rooted in Reform Judaism. NFTY’s Chicago Area Region (NFTY-CAR) comprises the city of Chicago, the surrounding urban and suburban areas, and northwestern Indiana.

This event is home hosted, meaning families from the Beth Tikvah community will open their homes to our NFTY teens for sleepovers of small groups of high schoolers. Teens will have room to roll out sleeping bags, access to bathrooms and showers, and breakfast and transportation provided by our wonderful host families.
