Temple Chai Israel Trip

Temple Chai offers an amazing congregational trip to Israel. The trip goes every other year in December. The next trip planned is for December 2017. For more information or to sign up for this incredible opportunity, please email Steve Sukenik.

Ta'am Yisrael

Ta'am Yisrael
(Translated as A Taste of Israel) is an 8th grade educational experience in Israel designed to give the participants a meaningful, intense, emotional and focused taste of the land and their heritage through a weeklong, "hands-on" experience in Israel.

How do we fill a week? Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, archeological digs, trekking through deserts and swimming in the Dead Sea, historical sites, museums, making friends in Israel, engaging in social justice projects and much more.

Ta’am Yisrael strives to strengthen the participant’s Jewish identity while helping them build a deep connection with Israel. The program encourages students to continue their Jewish education and involvement in their post-Bar/Bat Mitzvah lives through continued engagement in Jewish learning experiences and youth/community programming.
